I have nothing in particular to write about.  But I know I just have to unload some sad emotions after reading the blog posts of a new-found-friend, ate Cecil @ http://www.istoryya.com/.  Those are stories of women - exchanging blows with poverty and desperation and winning over these battles almost everyday of their lives (http://www.istoryya.com/prajim-lekdam-beats-the-tsunami/, http://www.istoryya.com/the-women-series-hunger-and-anastacia/, and a lot more).  Ahh, so sad but also inspiring, so heartbreaking but after reflecting on their stories, there is that sense of gratitude and completeness of the heart knowing that you are very lucky to have a better life.  I used to feel this same emotion a long time ago when I was still working for an NGO, but I almost forgot it after entering the corporate world.  I almost forgot my daily prayer before -
"Dearest Lord, Teach me to be generous, teach me to serve You as I should.  To give and
                  not to count the cost..."

          - but these stories roused me back to who I truly wanted to become.  And I want my old, generous
self better than the ambitous lady I am today.

And definitely, there is more to life than just pursuing personal elusive dreams.  Sometimes, it
is  even more fulfilling to help others complete their dreams...
